Les & Gwen Ferguson
Our 1920’s duplex in Vaucluse was a building with potential.
Built on a regular suburban block with not a lot of room to manoeuvre, Cadence took on the task of drawing up plans to turn the two storey building into a home for a couple of geriatrics who wanted to live on the upper floor with an outlook to the ocean. Amongst many other things, this meant installing a lift – our pride and joy, and knocking an opening through between the upper flat entrance and the lower to make the two, one.
A wonderful team of young and enthusiastic tradesmen and subcontractors carried out all of the above plus landscaping in absolute record time.
Not only were all these works, plus all the ancillary tasks of setting up a new home, virtually completed in four months but with such good humour, thoughtfulness and efficiency. We were kept informed every step of the way as to what, how and when the trades were involved. It was a great experience and we now have a lovely home for ourselves, plus full accommodation downstairs for our visiting family and friends, and – in time carers.
A most satisfactory outcome indeed.
Yours sincerely Gwen and Les Ferguson
