Grove House

A contemporary addition to a Californian Bungalow home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore in response to the family’s growing need for personal sanctuary and a better engagement with private open space. The existing home was retained and new space extended along the southern boundary, wrapping around the rear of the site to create a private landscaped courtyard with new swimming pool.

Generous new light-filled living spaces have been created. Space for the family to come together comfortably, as well as separate retreats for both parents and children. All with direct connection or outlook to the new garden with its curated specimen trees.

Grove House respects its original fabric and brings it to life with a thoughtful series of contemporary spaces.
